College of Natural Sciences

The Natural Sciences Education and Outreach Center directly supports future and current science and mathematics teachers and researchers. Our 200-level hands-on course is open to every student and focuses on inquiry-based teaching. Each week we bring in a different group of students from schools up to an hour drive away from CSU’s main Fort Collins campus. CSU students can test the waters of being an educator before declaring the Bachelors of Science in Natural Sciences major, which we also advise. Your contribution to this fund can help provide the latest scientific equipment designed for teaching and help us support recent graduates who are navigating the difficult first few years of classroom teaching.
